School User Agreement
Effective November 1, 2026
This School User Agreement applies to coaches, admissions staff and other employees of schools who use Road to Prep ("you"). It's in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. School accounts are free.
1. Who can have a school account
You must be at least 18 and currently employed or engaged by the school you list, in a role that involves admissions, athletics or student recruitment. Use your school email address. Road to Prep verifies school staff before they can see athletes, and may remove access at any time, including when you leave the school. Tell us when someone leaves your school so we can remove their access.
2. Most athletes are minors
Athlete profiles are created and controlled by their parents. You may use athlete information only to evaluate and recruit athletes for admission to your school and for its athletic programs.
3. What you agree to
- Keep it on Road to Prep. Contact families only through Road to Prep messaging, which a parent approves, unless the family gives you their contact information directly.
- Don't contact athletes directly through social media, phone or email without a parent's permission.
- Don't copy, download in bulk, sell or share athlete information with anyone outside your school's admissions and athletic staff, and never with other schools, recruiting services, camps or commercial partners.
- Don't use athlete information for marketing unrelated to recruiting for your school, and don't add families to mailing lists without their consent.
- Keep your login private. One account per person; don't share it.
- Be accurate. Information you provide about your school in the School Finder must be accurate and kept current.
- Event information: player lists, notes and ratings you receive or record at Road to Prep events are for your school's recruiting use only.
- Follow the rules that apply to you, including your school's policies and any athletic association or conference rules on recruiting.
4. Your school's information
You give Road to Prep permission to publish the school information you provide in the School Finder. Changes are reviewed before they go live. Road to Prep may edit for accuracy and clarity.
5. Security incidents
If you believe athlete information has been accessed or shared improperly, tell us at info@roadtoprep.com right away.
6. Ending access
We may suspend or remove a school account that breaks this agreement. When your access ends, stop using and delete any athlete information you copied from Road to Prep, except what your school is required to keep for an active application.
