About Road to Prep

Road to Prep helps student-athletes and their families find the right prep school or college program, and get there. Choosing an independent school is one of the biggest decisions a family makes, and most families go through it once. We go through it every year.

We built this site so the whole journey lives in one place: a free athlete profile schools can actually find, honest school research in the School Finder, evaluations from our staff at events, and advisors for families who want a guide the whole way.

Parents stay in control. Athlete profiles are visible only to verified school staff, schools never see a family's email or phone number, and a parent approves every new school that reaches out.

What we do

• Events. The Road Home showcase and school fair every September, and The Battle Ground team tournament in October.
• Evaluations and rankings. Our staff evaluate players at events and from submitted film.
• The School Finder. Profiles built from answers the schools gave us directly.
• Advising. One-on-one help for families who want a partner from first evaluation to signing day.
