Photo, Video and Media Pass Policy
Effective November 1, 2026
This policy explains how Road to Prep photographs and films its events, how we use that content, and how the All-Access Media Pass works.
1. Events are filmed and photographed
Road to Prep events are photographed and filmed by our staff and partners. By registering a player, the parent or guardian confirms they understand this. On the registration form, the parent can choose whether Road to Prep may use photos and video of their player for promotion.
2. How we use photos and video
- Always: to run and evaluate the event, to provide the Media Pass to families who buy it, and to share film with school coaches and evaluators for recruiting.
- Only with your permission on the registration form: on Road to Prep social media, our website, newsletters and promotional materials. We never post a player's contact information or anything that identifies where a child lives.
- If you'd like us to take down a photo or post featuring your child, email info@roadtoprep.com and we'll remove it from our own channels promptly.
3. The All-Access Media Pass
- The Media Pass gives the purchasing family access to the event's raw sideline footage, organized by team and date, on a private, unlisted channel.
- Footage includes other players. It's licensed to you for your family's personal and recruiting use only: watching, sharing your own athlete's clips with coaches, and making your athlete's highlight video.
- Don't post or share full footage publicly, sell it, or use clips that focus on other players without their family's permission.
- Do not share the private channel link outside your family.
- The Team Media Pass gives the same access to every player on the purchasing coach's team, under the same terms.
- The Media Pass doesn't include an edited highlight reel or clip selection.
- Media Pass purchases are non-refundable once footage is available.
4. Your own photos and video
Families may take photos and video of their own athlete for personal use. Please respect other families who may not want their children filmed.
